Cheap Search Engine Optimization…Really?
Is there really such a thing as cheap search engine optimization? Okay – let me rephrase…is there really such a thing as QUALITY search engine optimization that is cheap?
UGH! I have to admit that when someone asks this question I swallow back a whole world of frustration. In fact, I swallow back the 15+ years that I have spent optimizing webpages for search engines from scratch – with years of trial and error, blood sweat and tears, sacrifices on family time and all of that!
What a good Search Engine Marketer will do to produce results is a very extensive procedure that starts with hours of strategic keyword research and then applying the perfect balance of marketing communications with natural search engine optimization. They are careful NOT to tip the scales and break the rules. But they are also thinking about every word combination and proximity between your file names, page titles, title tags, meta keywords, meta descriptions and on page content. Of course they are also paying close attention to text and image formats. From alt tags to anchored text – to heading tags and formatting…all of it matters to a professional in the SEO trade!
That’s REALLY what true search engine optimizers are doing.
How could this be CHEAP!? I just don’t get it. I suppose if you are looking for express submissions to bogus search engines that no one has ever heard of….FINE you can get cheap search engine optimization – but PLEASE don’t call on a true Search Engine Marketer like myself for that service. I certainly wouldn’t do it, it will never last and you will get nothing from the effort.
Sure, you could use express directory submissions or commissioned seo content writers at $15 a pop too…but again, it will never last and you will get very little from the effort.
Bottom line…you will GET what YOU PAY FOR! And for cheap seo – you might as well be throwing away your money!
If you expect to get REAL traffic on your website that is QUALIFIED to not only be there – but also to join your newsletter and buy from you some day…it will NOT come cheap. NOR will the results happen overnight. It just doesn’t work that way. Search Engine Optimization is intended for LONG TERM RESULTS for a website owner.
So please if you are serious about your business…stop searching for cheap search engine optimization companies and start searching for search engine marketers who produce results!
It’s the only way you will succeed with your business.
